Kansas City InfoSec Community Showcase

Come join Kansas City's Infomation Security Community for an evening of InfoSec and community! To get you in the mood for BSides KC 2019 the next day, SecKC, Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) - Kansas City Chapter, ISC^2 Kansas City Chapter, Women In Security - KC (WiSKC), Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and DevOps KC will host a joint meeting and Happy Hour on April 25, 2019, from 6-9pm. We'll have representation and information from other area InfoSec and InfoSec-adjacent groups as well!

Sponsored by New Context and RiskIQ, the community showcase will feature great InfoSec short talks from each of our groups, great beer from Big Rip and Stockyards breweries (along with plenty of non-alcoholic options), light hors d'ouvres, beats by Archwisp, and a souvenir pint glass for each attendee! (As well as plenty of time to network with your fellow KC InfoSec Community members.)

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, but you must show ID and get a wristband to be served alcoholic drinks! (Kids under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available south of Drexel Hall off of Baltimore, or across Linwood to the north.
