The night begins with Gene “Pickpocket Gene” Turner. He will perform some live magic and misdirection that make you question what is real and what is not. His sleight of hand mirrors how scammers and cybercriminals manipulate people every day.

Then, four experts take the stage to bring cybersecurity to life:

  • Dr. Cheryl Cooper is a U.S. Navy veteran and President of Women in CyberSecurity KC. She reveals how every person plays a role in preventing cybercrime. Her stories and strategies teach how to recognize threats, make better digital choices, and build true cyber resilience.

  • Donnie Hampton, CEO of Roz, explains how compliance and cybersecurity now work hand in hand. He shows how businesses of any size can use AI and automation wisely to build secure systems and eliminate costly blind spots.

  • Cory Kennedy, founder of haKC.ai, exposes the hidden risks of “AI slop,” which is fake or poisoned data used by attackers to create confusion and chaos. He shows how to think like a hacker, validate information, and outsmart digital deception.

Finally, Gene Turner returns for an unforgettable finale that ties everything together. His closing performance proves that awareness, attention, and quick thinking can outsmart even the most sophisticated cyber tricks.
