Operating Systems Engineer

  • Provide remote deployment support and administration of operating systems

  • Work directly with LightEdge Solutions’ end-clients

  • Identify, correct, and advise on incidents related to client OS services

  • Accept escalated service requests and incidents related to operating system issues or management

  • Effectively communicate project status to project managers and clients

  • Co-development and implementation of OS image repository, hardening policies, and automation

  • Testing of proposed solutions within lab environments when applicable

  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

  • Create and maintain deployment guides in coordination with other subject matter experts

  • Continuous service delivery innovation, improvement, and education

  • Minimum 40 hours/week required

  • Other duties as assigned
